Writing and Editing
In my 18 years as an academic, I have developed a wide variety of highly transferable communication skills, including:
writing about research for academic and other audiences
editing and providing strategic advice on other people’s writing
devising and developing educational curricula
Presenting to students, the public, industry and professional audiences.
I am able to gather and synthesise information from disparate sources and make even the most complex ideas accessible to a wide range of audiences. My background in ethics has made me adept at synthesising information about "facts" and "values" and making complex technical and social ideas accessible to a wide range of audiences.
